2008 El Toro Series Results

We sailed our final race for the 2008 El Toro frostbite series for a total of 29 races. In order to compensate for racers who may not be able to make all the planned 36 races, we count the best 15 to score the series. We sailed all of the best weekends excluding Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday, missed all the bad ones. I believe we successfully finished at least one day with the wind pushing 20 knots. Most days we sailed six 15-20 minute races which has proven to be a good format to provide interesting racing for the racers and fans.

  • 5th Malcolm McCullough 60 points
  • 6th Paul Harding 77 points (sailed just one day)
Thanks to our racing support team who braved the cold to start and score the fleet or to watch over us from the chase boat, keeping us safe.
